Nelda Joy Wallace, age 74, went to be with the Lord, January 21, 2021 at her home. She will be laid to rest with her parents in Hobbs and Lovington, New Mexico. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Chambers Funeral of Cisco. Nelda was born April 18, 1946 in Rotan, TX to Beverly Pool Vardiman, Jr and Virginia Whitford. She made her home in Cisco in 1979. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Anthony Jacoby in July 2019, two brothers, Gerald and Bill and one sister, June. Nelda is survived by 2 brothers, Phil Vardiman of Abilene and Donald Vardiman of New Jersey, one sister, Phyllis Curtis of Arlington and a host of friends.
