Mr. Marvin Lee Brandstetter Sr.

May 18, 1951 - August 11, 2014

CISCO – Marvin Brandstetter, Sr., age 63, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 in Eastland. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 16th at 10:00 am at Faith Baptist Church in Cisco. Arrangements were made through the Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco. Marvin Lee Brandstetter was born May 18, 1951in Haskell, TX to William Meadows Brandstetter and Ruby Katherine (Shepard) Brandstetter. After school Marvin joined the United States Army and fought in Vietnam. On March 2, 1970 he married the love of his life Betty Hupke in San Angelo, TX and that is where they made their life and started their family until they moved to Cisco twenty five years ago. Marvin loved to fish and hunt but his greatest love was taking care of his family. If someone was in need, he was always there to help. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, Chase Anthony Roberts, two brothers, Pat and Royce Brandstetter and his sister-in-law Gloria Jean Brandstetter. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons, Marvin Brandstetter, Jr. and his wife Linda, John Brandstetter and his wife Katey and Daniel Brandstetter and his wife Carol; his daughter, Patricia Roberts and her husband Kevin; two grandchildren, Selene Roberts and Noah Brandstetter; his brother, Donnie Brandstetter and two sisters, Katie Pinkston and Susan Keeling.
