Cecilia Reyes

Cecilia T. Reyes, age 76, went home to the arms of her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. A visitation and Holy Rosary will be held from 10-12am at Chambers Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass beginning at 2 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1108 Ave F. Cisco, TX. Cecilia was born February 4, 1945 in Ft. Worth to Manuel and Portinia Cabral Tijerina. She was a graduate of Ft Worth High School. She married Joe M. Reyes in August of 1965 in Aspermont, TX and had just celebrated 55 years together. Cecilia was a catholic who loved her Lord. She also loved to sew and garden. She had a calling to take care others and was blessed with abilities to care for those who needed her. She was a good wife and loving mother to her 5 children. She is survived by her husband Joe, sons; Jose M. Reyes, Erbey Reyes, David Reyes, daughters; Maria Rodriquez and Sonia Hare, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
